In a triumphant display of determination and skill, the recent cohort of students from the Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) and Lifelong Learning Center (L3C) have marked their journey to success. The fifth cohort, comprising a diverse group of 26 individuals, embarked on their educational odyssey in December 2023. With fervent enthusiasm, they delved into the intricacies of two specialized programs: iSkills Riggers and iSkills Marker Fitters. These programs, designed to equip students with essential skills and knowledge, serve as a springboard for career advancement and personal growth.
The journey was not without its challenges, as the students navigated through rigorous coursework and practical exercises. However, their perseverance and dedication proved unwavering, propelling them forward with unwavering resolve.
On March 8th, amidst an atmosphere of anticipation and excitement, the cohort concluded with pride and accomplishment. For the 10 students of the iSkill Riggers program, their newfound expertise in rigging techniques opens doors to a myriad of opportunities in various industries. Meanwhile, the 13 students of the iSkill Marker Fitters program emerged as proficient artisans, ready to leave their mark in the realm of construction and infrastructure.
Notably, three individuals from the iLeap program, a testament to the commitment to lifelong learning, also completed their training at ATDC. Their journey serves as an inspiring example of resilience and determination, proving that it is never too late to pursue one’s dreams.
